Size Matter If you are going to paint a large room or wide outdoor wall, it would be faster to finish the wide wall or ceiling if you are going to use an 18-inch wide roller and roller cage. The roller is supported in both sides that makes it easier to apply paint with consistent pressure.  You can find wide roller equipment in most paint stores, or you can order a whole set online.
