We would rather tell you the truth than book a job you do not need. A protective coating is not always the right move, and here is when we will tell you to hold off.

• Your concrete is actively spalling or crumbling. A coating does not repair failed concrete, it only covers it. If the slab is breaking apart, that is a repair or replacement conversation first, and it may be outside our scope as a painting contractor.
• You want a garage or basement floor coated. That is an interior floor, and the product for it is epoxy, which we do not offer. This page is about exterior concrete and masonry only.
• You are after a decorative stained-concrete look. Acid-staining and decorative concrete are a different trade. We do protective coating and painting, not decorative staining, so we are not the right call for that finish.
